This Matilde Poulat necklace is all about the palomas . With turquoise and coral stones only dotted in this design the emphasis is on the masterfully executed repousse palomas with the rare carving of the roses on the bellies. The palomas meet at the filigree flower in the vase that is ornamented by only the flower and it's pear shaped warmed turquoise stones for leaves and also the center of the flowers bloom. The weight of this treasure is 136 grams heavy which holds true to Matilde Poulat's early works with heft and quality. Hallmarked as shown with Matl in script which is an early Matl hallmark. The piece has a comfortable 18in. wearable length. The drop is just under 3in. tall and 3.5in. across. The dangles add another inch to the drop length. Links that make up the chain are ornamented with repousse balls and are one inch in size. This treasure is simply outstanding and a true joy to wear, just LOOK AT THAT NECKLACE!
