This is a rare and early Antonio Pineda masterpiece of vintage Mexican Silver. The most prized moonstones in this design are gemstone quality and glow with blue tones. The center stone is a large, lovely, almost round jewel that sets off the entire cascade. The necklace is properly hallmarked as shown with the early marks before labeling his pieces with lettering. I especially love Pineda's earliest work because it was made with gorgeous swirls and sweeping turns unlike the latter more modernistic designs. The wearable length is approximately 16in. and the weight is 75 grams. The drop spans 5in. across and 2.5 in. tall from the very center. This is a piece that is rarely seen and it's beauty is greater than my ability to even describe it. THIS NECKLACE HAS NO REPAIRS and the condition is superb and has no damage at all. The provinance of this necklace shows it was purchased on a family trip to Mexico and had only one owner. Please ask for more pictures or email with any questions. This is museum and collector quality, just LOOK AT THAT NECKLACE!
