This is an early Gerardo Lopez 980 Taxco clamper that is so comfortable to wear because it is more the size around of a bracelet. The hallmark is partially rubbed on the Lopez but the documented mark is clear. The face is 2.25 tall and it tapers to one inch in the back. The repousse is thick and it weighs 70 grams. It best fits a 7in. or under wrist. This is beautifully done and there are no dents and the spring has tension that feels just right. It is a knock out with the hand carved necklace shown.
