Mixed Metale Fruit Vintage Mexican Silver Necklace

This vintage Mexican silver necklace is signed AE inside a heart and eagle. I have never seen this maker make anything but quality pieces. Bille Hougart notes in his book The Little Book of Mexican Silver Trade and Hallmarks that this maker was also seen on Rancho Alegre and Estela Popowski. The drops are an unusual completely 3 dimensional mixed metale fruit with stems and solid silver leaves that make up the necklace! It is 16in. plus 1.75in. of adjustable rings. The widest point is a bit over one inch with drops. It is a heavy 71.6 grams and condition is superb. Really special just, LOOK AT THAT NECKLACE!
