This Hector Aguilar Macaw brooch is large at 3.75in.tall and 2in. at its widest point. The weight is 30 grams and is properly hallmarked as shown and is a pre-1948 brooch. The underside shows the open backed repousse that is thick with a solid silver base. This Macaw has no damage and is an excellent example with well executed proportions and shape. This is collector and museum quality.
