Early Mexico City Mexican Silver Pre-48 Necklace

Administration: Nodes (Content)

This is a beautiful piece with snake eye turquoise and coral and a larger stone of warmed teal turquoise in the center of each link. It fits like a collar, weighs 154 grams, is 1.5in. wide and 20in. long. This treasure is hallmarked as a pre-1948 JGD on the tongue of the clasp as well as Mexico Cities designation of DF. We recognize the Matilde Poulat style in the workmanship. This piece is masterfully executed and can stand next to the quality of Matl's earliest pieces and certainly deserves a place in your treasure chest. Early Mexico City pieces have become sought after by collectors and this piece shows us why, just LOOK AT THAT NECKLACE! LAYAWAY AVAILABLE
