Salvador Teran Vintage Mexican Silver Necklace and Earrings

This is not your run of the mill Salvador Teran. We rarely find this design 162 and with the matching earrings as well. The silver is thick and the overlay is heavy and domed showing great skill and dimension with a weight of 96 grams. Underneath the overlay is a niello finish providing contrast. The wearable length is approximately 16in. and the measurement of the diameter is 4.5in. It lays perfectly and the hinged sides allow for movement and a perfect fit. No damage anywhere and obviously kept as the treasure it is. The earrings are also fantastic in condition and style. The size is 1in. x .75in. and weight is 16 grams. The drop is stately at 2in. tall and 1.5in. across. The side pieces are 2 in. tall as well. This is collector quality and Penny Morrill has shown this Teran necklace design in her books on Mexican Silver. Beautiful, just LOOK AT THAT NECKLACE!
